Busy Busy!

We spent the weekend in Joplin & Kansas, visiting friends & family.  It was so nice but these weekends always seem to go by too quick!  We had such a great time with family, Lyndlee loves seeing everyone.  While in Kansas, we got to visit shortly with other families that have adopted from Taiwan so she got to play with her buddies Ava and Kyler.  They are so precious to watch, what blessings & miracles they all are!
It is hard to believe that in 16 days, Lyndlee will turn 1!  Wow, how the time flies.  She is such a joy, she makes us laugh all the time.  She is taking more steps everyday, so I think walking is right around the corner.  I have mentioned before that she loves food, you just have to see it to know what I am talking about though!  When she sees someone eating, she will come right over to you and talk/smile for a bite.   I guess she did this to Aunt Joy!  All we know is that on our way home Monday afternoon, Lyndlee was speaking words Brennan and I had never heard her say before and she kept laughing and laughing.  She was so hyper and this went on for about 20 minutes.  Come to find out, she was on a sugar high!  She had eaten cinnamon rolls, not for sure how much she had but we understand fully because she is so hard to say no too her when she comes calling for food, she is just way too cute!
We hope and pray all is well with everyone!

A New Week

Lyndlee is 11 months now, crawling everywhere and into everything.  Often when I am chasing after her or cleaning up her messes, I think of my mom who had 8 children and I ask myself, how did she do this?  Or I think of my sisters who each have 3 kids and wonder how they do it!  Lyndlee is such a sweet baby girl.  She has mastered crawling and is well on her way to walking.  She uses furniture to help her take steps.  She is discovering all these new places to be, places I didn't even realize she could fit in.  She is eating everything off the floor, this morning she decided to start digging under the fridge for food.  It is almost like we don't feed her but oh my goodness, this girl loves food and eats all the time.  If she hears the sound of something being fixed or even sees Brennan or I in the kitchen, she comes crawling quickly and just smiles and starts talking to us to win us over.  It is so funny.
Now that I have had my surgery and am not working but staying home, she has really enjoyed just being home and is so content and happy!
She loves when her daddy gets home, when he walks through the door, she just smiles and smiles!
We hope you are all doing well, we love you all and miss you!
