Many of you know that Brennan and I adopted our baby girl Lyndlee Jya-Ying from Taiwan in August 2007. It was such an amazing experience, from the very moment we got the call on the night of May 25th, 2007 from Mama Bev and Papa Ted in Taiwan saying they had a baby girl for us, from all the paperwork being processed so quickly and our court dates going so well, and from our week spent in Taiwan. The moment we met Lyndlee will forever stay in our hearts, as we got off the plane after 22 hours, just exhausted but so excited, and our baby girl was placed in our arms and was just smiling at us. The Lord brought us all together and has blessed our family so much.
Jya-Ying which is her Chinese name given to her at the home, we kept as her middle name because it means "Good News" and oh how she is our good news, our joy, our miracle, our answered prayer!
Doesn't seem real that we have been home with Lyndlee for almost 8 months now. We were extremely blessed and were able to be with her before she turned 4 months and now soon she will turn 1!! She has added so much joy to our lives. We are so proud to be her parents and to call her our daughter! The Lord is faithful!
